I have had several breakfasts here. The first was just after it opened.
This is a second review: Its only here because it was a slight twist on the standard Full English. It was superb!
The second occasion, I went on St Patrick’s Day. It was incredibly good. Again, they don’t serve bacon, they do serve baked ham, perfectly poached egg, 2 sausages, (1 made with black pudding), beans, flat mushroom, soda bread and a bottle of Guinness. Top quality ingredients, cooked superbly. It would have got a 9 for this one. Wonderful!
The breakfast was brilliant, but for a couple of small points: 1. the toast was standard sliced, supermarket bread. 2. It wasn’t served hot enough. Correct those 2 things – and you have one of the best breakfasts in Birmingham.
