This is an amazing way to spend a Saturday morning. Arrive at one of the best dining venues in the Midlands, then be fed incredible food and drink lovely tea and coffee with a great bunch of people that share a love of breakfasts. Happy days!
This breakfast took ages to arrange. Months of negotiations with Luke Tipping (Exec Chef) and then Nathan Eades, (Head Chef) culminated in the following exquisite menu:
Smoked Haddock Risotto, with Capers, Parsley and Quails Egg:
After yet more coffee and tea, (and the obligatory sour dough toast of course), the lucky 16 of us moved on to the second course:
Crispy Duck Egg, Chorizo and Coco Bean, Confit Tomatoes, Walnut Puree, Smoked Bacon Emulsion:
This was amazing! I love the way they do the crispy egg, its stunning!
Finally, we finished off the awesome breakfast with:
English Apples, Yoghurt and Toasted Almond Granola
The breakfast was excellent, the service was impeccable, as expected from a Michelin Starred restaurant.
