OK, so its not exactly Birmingham, however, when I eat a breakfast thats this good, I feel duty bound to report back on it.

Its a lovely B and B run by Mark and Simon. They really care. Mark was mainly front of house and Simon was in the kitchen. They typify how to do hospitality. They were just about perfect, as was the breakfast.

2 perfectly cooked bacon, 2 perfectly cooked sausages, 2 halves of tomato, mushrooms, black pudding, some fried bread, (not at all greasy), a fried egg, some small hash browns and a ramekin of baked beans. Toast was help yourself.

There was not a single cooked item that I thought could be bettered. The only reason that its not a 10/10 is that the bread was standard stuff, not artisan or sour dough etc. Though this is true, I also have to take into consideration that this is ‘just’ a B and B. The breakfast here is way above what should be expected and is included in the price of the accommodation.
It may well be a bit of a hike, but if you are ever in the area, I cannot recommend this place enough.
If this place was in Birmingham, it would probably be the best for 2018.
