We found ourselves in the tiny village, (the home of sticky toffee pudding apparently?) after enjoying a ridiculously fancy meal at L’Enclume – somewhere we had wanted to try for years. I chose the Priory Hotel as they said that their breakfast was very good.
They were right. Perfectly cooked egg, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, toast, super-crunchy hash brown and beans. I couldnt fault a single thing.
The other half had salmon and scrambled eggs – which she said was very good in deed.
If for some reason you end up in this tiny village, I really would recommend that you try the breakfast at the Priory Hotel – its difficult to fault it.
Would I go there again? Damned right I would!
